the shadow project.









by katie sokoler.

katie cuts human forms into the shape of shadows and places them on walls in Brooklyn. she then waits for the perfect moment in which someone's position corresponds to the shadows to take a photo.

You should look into Kara Walker. Not so much the photography but the use of "shadows".

^^Yea, Kara Walker's pretty well known...show's at alot of contemporary museums, and she just gave a lecture about her work up here in chicago about a month ago.
